The new MSN Music Club site has started. I think this is supposed to be a bit like Apple's service in the US. A permanent download of a track (i.e. that you can put on your own CDs) is about £1. This looks like a good price to me - small enough that you wouldn't notice it coming out of your account, but enough that the record company can pay for its recording. It might take off - it had better, as the music industry is sunk otherwise.
